Ian started playing guitar in 1995 and over the years has met and performed with some of the best musicians in the UK and abroad whilst playing in his chosen musical genre. Also the fact that Not The Shadows are currently Europe's leading tribute to The Shadows (October 2024). For this reason it made Ian a candidate for become an Alan Entwistle Artist.
About Entwistle Pickups
ALAN ENTWISTLE has been involved in the guitar industry, in one role or another, for most of his life. At a young age he heard the unmistakeable ‘twang‘ of an electric guitar and was hooked on the sound, the instrument, the aesthetics, the players and of course, the electronics.
The Alchemy Of Tone
Alan Entwistle has been designing pickups for around 40 years, helping players from all genres achieve the ‘tone in their head’. His pickups can also be found on his guitar designs, made in collaboration with well-known guitar brands, such as ‘Rapier’, ‘Vintage Revo’ and ‘Revelation’.
